Every Day Volunteers Make a Positive Difference at Reliance Hospice
Volunteers
The hospice movement was founded by a dedicated group of Volunteers committed to caring for patients at the end of life and supporting their families and friends. Volunteers play an essential role by providing compassionate care to patients and their loved ones, as well as office support to the Reliance Hospice team.
Volunteers are ready and available to offer companionship to patients, relief or respite time to caregivers, help with errands, or being a vigil presence for dying patients.
In addition, Volunteers may be available to engage patients in art and music therapy.
